In the time it takes you to read this sentence you target is long gone.

So what good is that 5 year buy at the best location in town if your creative can’t communicate your message quickly enough to be successful.

You’re competing with the physical obstruction of the skyline, every other billboard within view, the radio that’s playing in you targets vehicle and the traffic around them. In addition to all that distraction, the vehicle they are in is traveling at a high rate of speed and the target probably has bigger things on their mind than what you’re trying to sell them.

All in all you have about 3 seconds to get your message across. Not only does your target need to read it, your billboard needs to become a part of them. The visuals, brand, call to action and message need to provide all the information necessary in such as way that they will remember everything for the next 2 hours until they get home, eat dinner and get to their computer.
